Job Summary:
The MEP Manager is responsible for overseeing the design review, installation, testing & commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction projects. This role involves coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all MEP systems are integrated into the overall project design and meet the required standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design review and installation of MEP systems for construction projects.
  • Ensure MEP systems comply with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to integrate MEP systems into the overall project design.
  • Manage a team of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers and inspectors.
  • Inspect and verify the quality of equipment and systems.
  • Ensure all MEP works are completed within the set timeline and budget.
  • Resolve any issues or delays that may affect the project schedule.
  • Provide technical advice and solve problems onsite.
  • Prepare reports and project updates for management.
  • Participate in project meetings and discussions with clients as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in MEP management in construction projects with overall 12-15 years of postgraduate work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with large-scale construction projects.
  • Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient MEP systems.
