DowMartin Ltd in Dubai seeks an experienced EHS&S Manager to lead the Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Energy Management System programs. You will coordinate with senior management and multiple departments to ensure compliance with international standards and company policies.

You will spearhead hazard control, incident investigations, and regulatory alerts, while maintaining ISO 14001 certification and energy initiatives.

Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant discipline; preferred safety qualifications such as NEBOSH/BS, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor.
  • Lead Auditor ISO 14001 and related safety certifications are preferred.
  • Experience in oil/gas petrochemical environments is implied by the plant context.

Responsibilities

  • Annual EHSS & EnMS Planning.
  • Ensure maintenance of standards, manuals, and compliance with industry and international standards.
  • Lead hazard identification, evaluation and control with senior management and external agencies.
  • Manage EHS&S risks and align with highest standards to reduce insurance costs.
  • Lead investigations of EHS&S incidents; analyze trends and implement preventive measures.
  • Direct EHS&S inspections and internal/external audits; maintain certifications.
  • Publish alerts on new or altered regulations to plant managers.
  • Comply with information security policies and protect data assets.

Job description

  • To manage and control all departmental activities in accordance with company`s policies and procedures by establishing effective interfaces with all departments within the company and outside agencies to ensure that the safety of all employees and equipment meets international, industrial, and governmental standards.
  • To ensure security of the plant & employees by enforcing the regulations & Policies. To manage and maintain the certified Environmental management System according to the International standard ISO 14001. To manage the implementation of Energy management system for certification
Principal Accountabilities
  • Annual EHSS& EnMS(Environment, Health, Safety , Security& Energy Management System) Planning
  • Ensure that all Certified & other standards, specifications and manuals are adequately maintained and updated to ensure all conform to the approved industry and international standards and are in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Leads the process for hazard identification, evaluation and control process internally and externally through liaising with the Senior Management, Department Managers and also with the local law enforcement agencies.
  • Manages EHS&S risks, aspects & impacts through proper coordination between various departments and implementing highest EHS&S standards, thus bringing down the insurance premium for the Company.
  • Leads investigations of all EHS&S incidents I accidents including near misses. Analysis of accidents and identify trends, vulnerabilities and liabilities that may be avoided by preventive techniques and procedures.
  • Directs all EHS&S Inspections, departmental, Internal & External audits, ensuring best management practices and advise the senior management in safety, health, environment and asset protection& Security & maintain certifications.
  • Publish regular alerts to give a heads up to plant managers regarding new or altered regulations, and regulatory complaints.
  • Comply with all applicable information security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Classify and protect information assets in accordance with the Data Classification Standard.
Experience
  • University degree in a relevant discipline. Additionally the following qualifications are preferred: British Safety Council Diploma or NEBOSH, Advanced Firefighting License, First Aid Training Certification, and Industrial Security Courses.
  • Lead Auditor ISO 14001
  • l0-12 years of working experience in safety/health/environment department of gas, oil, or petrochemical plant.
  • Strong technical engineering background within oil and gas plants, with experience in refinery and petrochemical operations.
