About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Manager to join the Front Office - Guest Relations team at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The main duties include:

  1. Oversee pre-arrival coordination for VIP1 and VIP2 guests, ensuring preferences are met, collaborating with relevant departments for a seamless experience. Recognize repeat and important guests, build rapport, and proactively anticipate needs.
  2. Lead and develop the team to ensure high guest satisfaction, efficient operations, and adherence to Jumeirah and LQA standards.
  3. Handle guest complaints and feedback effectively.
  4. Monitor VIP suite arrivals and departures, ensuring all requirements are met, and conduct VIP courtesy visits or calls as needed.
  5. Organize and manage special events, including kids' activities and seasonal celebrations, involving planning, budgeting, and liaising with suppliers.
  6. Maintain open communication, log guest complaints, and ensure feedback is handled efficiently by supervising team members, delegating responsibilities, and liaising with other departments.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Minimum of 2 years experience as a Guest Services/Front Desk Manager in a 5-star environment.
  2. Experience working in a multicultural environment.
  3. 5 years experience in a middle management role in a 5-star hotel (desirable).
  4. Additional language skills: Arabic, Russian, French, German, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese (desirable).
