Abu Dhabi Ports in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Manager - GL & International Consolidation to lead end-to-end General Ledger activities, close processes, and oversee the financial consolidation of international subsidiaries.

The role requires IFRS expertise, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate across multinational entities while driving process improvements and automation.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience including GL and financial consolidation.
• Experience in multinational and/or multi-entity organizations desirable.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective stakeholder management.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple entities and business functions.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end General Ledger accounting and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Oversee consolidation of international subsidiaries and business entities.
• Review intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and elimination entries.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements and management reporting.
• Coordinate with finance teams across international locations to ensure consistent accounting practices.
• Monitor balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances or unusual transactions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Group Finance policies, and applicable local regulations.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required financial information.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, reporting processes, and automation.
• Prepare financial analysis and reporting for senior management.

Qualifications

Education

Experience

• Experience working within multinational and/or multi-entity organizations is highly desirable.
