Job summary

C1 is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer leader in Dubai to mentor a growing team delivering high-impact customer integrations and automation. You will design connectors, APIs, and provisioning flows that integrate C1 with external systems while helping scale the FDE program.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or mentoring engineers in customer-facing or professional services roles.
• Proficiency in Go (preferred) or backend languages such as Python, TypeScript, or Java.
• Fluency in APIs, webhooks, and modern identity standards (SCIM, SAML, OAuth).
• Experience building integrations with third‑party services.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both engineers and executives.
• Experience balancing hands‑on technical delivery with leadership responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or managing a forward deployed, solutions engineering, or professional services function at a SaaS company
• Experience with identity and access management systems such as Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, or Active Directory
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), observability tools (DataDog/Prometheus), and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience designing processes or tooling for scalable delivery of customer‑facing engineering work
