We are looking for an operationally strong leader to manage fleet performance within a designated region, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency in daily operations. AD Ports Group’s Maritime & Shipping Cluster is led by Noatum Maritime, a globally connected agile entity operating across multiple countries. With a fleet of over 250 vessels and decades of expertise, Noatum Maritime offers a diverse portfolio of services delivering “everything you need on the seas.”

Job Purpose

Provide managerial day-to-day operations support to handle the company’s fleet within a designated region, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  1. Managing the fleet in order to support regional and global Marine operations.
  2. Managing all aspects of Vessels support including crew administration, management, movement, assignment, and familiarization.
  3. Managing financial, Units equipment’s and Human Resources requirements to ensure redundancy and business continuity at AD Ports.
  4. Managing and maintain the expended fleet which consists units of 35 as per AD Ports requirements, policies, and procedures.
  5. Managing all marine units to the various projects to operates safely and efficiently, ensuring utmost readiness for potential international Mobilization.
  6. Participating with the Managements in operation recommendation.
  7. Managing the operations on all Vessel in compliance with Harbour Master Service agreement at all 8 ports under AD ports.
  8. Lead Fleet department to adopt and integrate innovations and new technologies onboard Marine Services Vessels.
  9. Undertaking the role and responsibilities of AD Ports Group company security officer.
  10. Initiate and implement training programmes to obtain HM Licences for the Marine Units Masters in all 8 ports under AD ports.
  11. Managing and maintaining the vessels readiness and their equipment, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and performance norms for specific activities carried out by the vessel and its equipment.

Management and Research

  1. Ensure accurate data entry and tracking of operations.
  2. Monitor activity on fleet accounts and support operational improvements.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies, Naval Architecture, or related field. Master’s preferred.
  2. 10 years and above of experience in fleet operations within the maritime industry.

Required Skills

  1. Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus)
  2. Strong leadership and initiative
  3. Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  4. Effective collaboration and interpersonal abilities
