This role will lead the strategic planning, development, and management of the organization's Finance Technologies
- Develop, execute, and oversee the organization's Finance technologies strategy to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Application management of the Finance Technologies and Platforms (OFSAA, FIS Sungard, Oracle GL, Hyperion, VAT, Recon system, Enterprise Performance Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, etc.).
- Engineering management of all platforms and systems relating to the Finance department (MIS / Budgeting and Planning, Financial Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, VAT / Taxation).
- Vertical unit / department champion for strategic initiatives such as Core Remediation Program, Enterprise GL Program, ALM / LRM / IFRS9 Program, GL Consolidation, Enterprise Performance Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, etc.
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of initiatives / programs throughout project lifecycles to ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, time, and cost estimates.
- Engage with Finance stakeholders regularly to discuss business technology needs and provide thought leadership to the team.
- Coordinate the selection, implementation, and upgrade of the business’s software / applications and services.
- Identify optimization potentials, such as leveraging shared capabilities between processes, increasing the adoption of technology, or simplifying products / services, to drive long-term efficiency improvements, in partnership with the business.
- Vendor management and governance for all external partners and suppliers to ensure effective management and delivery of the systems in scope.
