A leading global airline in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Financial Analyst to partner with business areas and support financial planning. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance and at least 4 years of experience in finance roles, preferably within the airline industry. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel are essential, along with experience in budgeting and forecasting. This role involves monthly reporting, financial analysis, and driving profitability improvements.
Synopsis
Responsible for providing relevant business area stakeholders with financial information, tools, analyses, and insights to support informed decision-making and business strategy. This involves partnering with Business and Finance teams, analyzing financial performance against targets, supporting financial planning, and revising processes and tools. The role is part of the Financial Planning and Strategy team, reporting to the Senior Manager FBP, and requires establishing trust-based relationships with key stakeholders within the portfolio business areas. The incumbent is expected to operate independently with minimal supervision, taking accountability for the following responsibilities.
