Al Kabeer Group in Dubai seeks an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead capital projects across frozen foods, cold storage, and packaging equipment. You will plan production line upgrades, plant expansions, and facility improvements.

You will develop schedules and budgets, coordinate with consultants and contractors, monitor safety and quality, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations and HACCP standards.

Qualificações

• Experience in frozen food manufacturing, industrial refrigeration, cold storage, and food processing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, CAPEX management, contractor management, and engineering compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years in engineering project management within manufacturing or FMCG environments.
• Proven experience managing capital projects, plant expansions, equipment installations, and commissioning activities.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, manage, and execute engineering projects including new production lines and plant expansions.
• Develop schedules, budgets, resource plans, and implementation strategies.
• Monitor progress to ensure timely completion within budgets and specifications.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and upgrades of processing, packaging, refrigeration, and cold storage systems.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants, contractors, equipment suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare project cost estimates, CAPEX budgets, and financial forecasts; track expenditures and variations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, engineering standards, environmental requirements, and HACCP food safety standards.
• Coordinate training for maintenance and operations teams before handing over completed projects.

• Plan, manage, and execute engineering projects, including new production lines, plant expansions, facility upgrades, and equipment installations.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and implementation strategies.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within approved budgets and specifications.
• Manage installation, commissioning, and upgrades of food processing, packaging, refrigeration, and cold storage systems.
• Oversee projects involving industrial utilities, HVAC, electrical systems, boilers, compressors, and other manufacturing infrastructure.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, equipment reliability, energy consumption, and plant capacity.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants, contractors, equipment suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate technical proposals, review equipment specifications, and support vendor selection and procurement.
• Monitor contractor performance, quality of work, project milestones, and adherence to contractual requirements.
• Prepare project cost estimates, capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Track project expenditure, control costs, and manage variations and additional requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality, safety, or operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE regulations, engineering standards, environmental requirements, and occupational health and safety practices.
• Ensure engineering projects meet food manufacturing hygiene requirements and food safety standards, including HACCP principles.
• Coordinate risk assessments, site inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handover documentation.
• Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance teams.
• Coordinate project activities to minimize disruption to ongoing manufacturing operations.
• Provide regular project progress reports, risk updates, and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure completion of technical documentation, operating manuals, warranties, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate training for maintenance and operations teams before handing over completed projects.
• Review project outcomes and implement improvements in engineering standards, energy efficiency, and asset performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience in frozen food manufacturing, industrial refrigeration, cold storage, and food processing or packaging equipment.

• Strong knowledge of project planning, CAPEX management, contractor management, and engineering compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• 8–12 years of experience in engineering project management within manufacturing, food processing, FMCG, or a similar industrial environment.

• Proven experience managing capital projects, plant expansions, equipment installations, and commissioning activities.
