Job summary

du is seeking an experienced Data Security Specialist in Dubai to lead security design and governance for the solution platform. You will review demands, plan and implement security programs, and coordinate with Product Design to deliver data security services across Telecom/IT infrastructure.

The role requires 7–10 years of UAM and data security experience, with a strong focus on IAM, encryption, and privacy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in user access management within the telecommunications industry.
• Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management domains and UAM governance experience.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with ability to multi-task and communicate under pressure.
• Experience working with diverse IT systems and security topics.

Responsibilities

• Review demands for du solution/platform from Managed Services, IT & Network and build data security controls as needed.
• Manage planning, design and implementation of data security services programs and projects.
• Identify technical requirements from contracted products/services and coordinate with Product Design & Specification data security solutions.
• Lead internal TSRM security projects aligned with business objectives and requirements.
• Serve as expert on Data Security & Privacy projects (e.g., DLP, DAM, IAM, Encryption, Tokenization, MDM, PAM).
• Develop Security Design based on assessments for services over Telecom/IT infrastructure and Managed Services.
• Plan assessments of cloud security solutions to ensure requirements are designed and implemented per quality and timelines.
• Provide guidelines and ensure security compliance to du requirements (vulnerability management, patching, OS hardening, high availability, admin security).
• Lead the Acceptance Testing Plan (ATP) for security projects to evaluate scope and success.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

• To do review of the demands for securing the du solution/platform from Managed Services, IT & Network and build the appropriate data security controls as needed.
• Responsible to manage overall planning, design and implementation of data Security Services programs & projects.
• Identify technical requirements resulting from contracted products and services and coordinate with Product Design & Specification data security services technology solutions
• To work on internal TSRM security projects in accordance with the business objectives and requirements.
• To be the expert on Data Security & Privacy projects and initiatives like DLP, Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), IRM, Classification, Encryption, Tokenization, MDM, IAM, Dashboard, PAM, etc.
• To develop Security Design based on the assessment for services those are provided over the Telecom/IT infrastructure & Managed Services.
• Plan and manage proper assessments of cloud security solutions based on the data Security Services plan to ensure that the requirements are designed & implemented as per the agreed quality and timelines.
• To provide guidelines and ensure Security compliance of the solution to du Security requirements such as Vulnerability & Patch management, Terminal Security, Operating System Hardening, High Availability of services and Infrastructure Administration Security.
• To lead the Acceptance Testing Plan (ATP) for security projects for the purpose of evaluating and validating the scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

Experience

• Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in User access management within the Telecommunication Industry maintaining and applying policies and procedures
• Good understanding of Identity & Access Management domains and proven work history of providing UAM governance.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, ability to multi-task and communicate under stress with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Fully capable of working with a variety of different information technology systems topics
