Job Purpose

Role Overview

The Manager for Data & Analytics Product Portfolio will lead the product management function within EDA, addressing business challenges through data and analytics solutions across all Emirates Group portfolios. This role involves strategic planning, development, and implementation of enterprise data products, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develops and maintains the long-term EDA product roadmap, evaluating business cases and articulating value propositions.
2. Owns the data and information product roadmap, ensuring compliance with strategic guidelines and architecture standards.
3. Defines enterprise data and information products collaboratively with architecture, IT, and business stakeholders.
4. Manages a team of data and analytics product owners and BI specialists.
5. Participates in data governance activities, including capturing and aligning semantic information across business areas.
6. Fosters strategic innovation by gathering stakeholder ideas, prioritizing initiatives based on evidence, and presenting proposals.
7. Ensures that EDA investments meet business needs, with post-launch evaluations to measure and realize business value.
8. Establishes thought leadership in product management, coaching and mentoring team members.
9. Engages in business domain discussions related to data and analytics products.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Honours with 10+ years in Data and Analytics.
• Over 6 years of experience transforming data into actionable insights.
• Expertise in information design, modeling, and metadata management.
• Understanding of integrated business processes and agile methodologies.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing teams and product viability.
• Deep knowledge of data and analytics, preferably with experience in the airline and ground handling industries.
