Manager Crisis Management and Business Continuity
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai is hiring a Manager for Crisis Management and Business Continuity to lead resilience planning, emergency preparedness, and risk mitigation efforts across the organization. This role ensures that RTA s operations remain uninterrupted and compliant with global standards during emergencies.

Job Overview
The Manager Crisis Management and Business Continuity will be responsible for developing and maintaining RTA s Crisis and Business Continuity Management (CBCM) framework. The role includes leading risk assessments, establishing crisis operations infrastructure, integrating CBCM practices into management systems, and ensuring adherence to international crisis management standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of Crisis and Business Continuity Management systems
- Ensure RTA s Crisis Management Framework aligns with BS 25999, ISO 22399, and best international practices
- Establish and maintain Crisis Operations Center (COC) and supporting IT infrastructure
- Oversee the design and implementation of Crisis Response Plans and Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) across agencies
- Conduct risk assessments and impact evaluations to drive resilience strategies
- Integrate CBCM practices into existing RTA management systems and operations
- Provide expert consultation on crisis management policies, procedures, and strategy
- Supervise annual CBCM reporting, internal audits, and ensure agency compliance
- Promote clear communication and training on corporate crisis policies
- Participate in and comply with RTA Information Security policies and protocols
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field from a recognized university
Experience:
- Minimum 11 years of professional experience, with at least 7 years in Risk Management and Crisis Management fields
Certifications:
- Certified Lead Auditor in BS 25999, ISO 22399, or equivalent Crisis Management and Quality/Risk Systems
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of international crisis management and business continuity standards
- Expertise in emergency planning, risk analysis, and resilience strategies
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to drive cross-functional coordination during crisis scenarios
- High-level proficiency in developing crisis frameworks, reports, and operational plans
