Role: Manager - Court Orders Management

Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose: The roles purpose is to ensure effective Legal Compliance and Court Orders Management -The role in is specifically handling court instructions and Central Bank requirements and plays a critical role in ensuring that the bank complies with legal and regulatory demands

Key Accountabilities of the role

Legal Compliance and Court Orders Management: Ensure that the bank complies with all court orders including freezing accounts facilitating asset recovery or other judicial instructions. Oversee the execution of court-related directives making sure they are implemented accurately and within prescribed deadlines. Act as the liaison between the bank and the courts ensuring smooth communication and compliance with all legal obligations.

Coordination with Central Bank:

Ensure that all Central Bank of the UAE regulations and instructions are followed particularly those related to court matters such as asset freezing or unfreezing customer account scrutiny and other legal obligations.

Keep up to date with Central Bank circulars and notices to ensure the bank remains compliant with new rules or amendments related to court and regulatory instructions. Risk Management and Mitigation:

Identify assess and mitigate risks associated with court orders and regulatory instructions ensuring the banks reputation and legal standing are protected.

Ensure that the bank avoids legal penalties sanctions or reputational damage by complying with all relevant judicial and regulatory processes. Team Leadership and Management:

Lead the Courts team responsible for handling all legal instructions from courts guiding them on efficient processes for handling sensitive legal matters.

Ensure proper training and upskilling of team members on legal protocols court orders and compliance with the Central Banks guidelines. Collaboration with Internal Departments:

Work closely with legal compliance risk operations and other relevant departments to ensure all court and

regulatory requirements are fully integrated into the banks processes.

Coordinate between different units to ensure that legal instructions are handled properly across the banks various functions. Reporting and Documentation:

Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the courts Central Bank and internal stakeholders regarding the status of court orders and regulatory compliance.

Maintain records of all court-related actions ensuring they are properly documented for future reference and audits. Policy Development and Implementation:

Develop and enforce policies and procedures that ensure compliance with court orders and Central Bank regulations adapting them as needed to accommodate new legal frameworks or regulatory changes.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:

Role requires a strong understanding of baking regulations legal frameworks and the court system within the UAE along with leadership capabilities to manage both people and processes effectively. Essential nature of the role requires the candidate to:

Lead the digital transformation of courts automation of the Court Case Management System

Establish and maintain relationship management with key competent authorities including courts and regulators. Work in partnership with Adib and external legal advisors on complex regulatory and documentation issues with oversight of the submission process of official correspondence.

Oversee the courts approach to bank wide strategic technology initiatives for vision 2035 ensuring platform alignment with regulatory frameworks and driving automation to improve turnaround time and efficiency.

Manage projects and cross-functional IT and operations projects ensuring deliverables met scope timelines and budget constraints while integrating performance and risk metrics.
