Role: Manager / Senior Manager
Locations: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh
Responsibilities:
- Deliver complex advice clearly to engagement teams and clients, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Stay updated on IFRS developments and their impact on clients to contribute to market success.
- Provide high-quality, well-documented IFRS consultation advice.
- Perform IFRS financial statement reviews, aiding Assurance teams and clients in compliance.
- Collaborate across competencies within the Global Corporate Reporting Services (GCRS) network.
- Work with colleagues across Middle Eastern offices and the GCRS network on complex IFRS issues.
- Keep abreast of regional and global trends.
- Coach, train, and mentor junior staff; support IFRS training initiatives.
- Operate within the Global CRS network, promoting consistent IFRS application and interpretation, and develop deep IFRS expertise.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to be flexible and adaptive daily.
- Work independently and in teams in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, producing high-quality outputs.
- 6-12 years of accounting and auditing experience, with at least 2 years in a technical accounting role, preferably in professional services.
Preferred Skills:
- Expertise in IFRS and financial reporting, including implementation and conversions.
- Proven experience providing technical accounting support and preparing technical papers.
- Experience reviewing financial statements for IFRS compliance.
- Optional knowledge of sustainability reporting.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills; fluency in English; multilingual abilities (Arabic advantageous).
- Willingness to travel within the Middle East and globally.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree.
