About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Communications Manager to join the Brand Team at Jumeirah Group & Corporate. The main duties include:
- Formulating and implementing corporate communication strategies aligned with business goals and brand integrity.
- Creating engaging content such as press releases, opinion pieces, newsletters, social media content, and speeches to enhance brand awareness.
- Serving as the primary media liaison, managing inquiries, press events, and conference participation.
- Maintaining relationships with media and stakeholders to ensure positive coverage.
- Collaborating across departments to communicate business news internally and externally through various channels.
- Supporting crisis communication efforts to protect the brand's reputation.
- Managing the digital presence by curating content for the website, intranet, and social media channels.
- Monitoring media coverage and industry trends, providing reports and insights.
- Measuring the effectiveness of communication initiatives using KPIs and refining strategies accordingly.
- Aligning communication activities with departmental P&L targets, budgets, and forecasts.
About you:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in creating and executing comprehensive communication strategies aligned with business and brand goals.
- Strong collaboration skills across functions for accurate and timely communication.
- 4-5 years of experience in content creation, media relations, and communication roles.
- Experience working with media outlets, journalists, and managing media relationships.
- Proven ability to handle crisis communication effectively.
- Experience in drafting internal communications, newsletters, and supporting internal events.
