Job description

JOB PURPOSE :


Lead both the external and internal Executive affairs of the Group CEO, providing oversight, facilitation, management, technical input, and ad-hoc support as needed.


Liaise with key interfaces between the Group CEO's external responsibilities and the rest of ADNOC Group. Support Group Company Boards and relevant Executive committees. Govern the workflows and decision-making processes of the Executive Office.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


ADNOC GCEO external responsibilities

  • Coordinate TEO stakeholders and content for ADNOC Board ExCom and Board meetings.
  • Prepare talking points for the Group CEO for these meetings.
  • Review and provide technical input on external Board meetings and resolutions.
  • Handle sensitive information per confidentiality protocols.
  • Develop the Responsibility Matrix for external commitments.
  • Develop the MS Planner platform for task management.
  • Communicate and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely responses.

ADNOC Group Company Boards and Executive Committees

  • Review and analyze Board materials across various topics.
  • Synthesize input, raise concerns, and identify themes for the Group CEO.
  • Coordinate with Legal and Governance teams on resolutions.
  • Ensure accurate minutes and actions from meetings.
  • Manage material creation and review for ELT meetings.
  • Review ELT materials to ensure adequacy for the Group CEO.
  • Support other matters involving the Group CEO.

TEO Governance

  • Facilitate engagement forums for TEO and the Group CEO.
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks and tools.
  • Ensure adherence to processes and workflows.
  • Maintain governance documentation repository.
  • Lead ERM activities, including risk register updates and input to the Business Plan.

Generic Accountabilities

  • Plan and coordinate activities to meet objectives.
  • Train and develop staff.

  • Contribute to budget preparation and monitor variances.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
  • Implement policies and procedures supporting work execution.

  • Contribute to performance objectives achievement.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement
  • Design tools and techniques for process improvement.

HSE and Sustainability
  • Comply with HSE policies and sustainability standards.

Reports
  • Provide inputs for management reports.

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:


Internal
  • Coordinate with management, boards, and departments.

External
  • Engage with external entities as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:


Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields.

Minimum Experience & Skills
  • 12 years in Corporate Support/ Affairs, preferably in Oil & Gas, with managerial experience.
  • Experience as a Company Secretary is preferable.
  • Strong governance, legal, and corporate knowledge.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
  • Experience working with CEOs and senior stakeholders.
