- Lead and manage end-to-end construction activities from mobilization through completion and handover.
- Develop and implement construction execution strategies, methodologies, and work plans in line with project objectives.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor construction activities across civil, structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
- Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, method statements, and construction schedules to ensure constructability and timely execution.
- Manage project manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and other resources to achieve planned productivity.
- Establish construction priorities, work sequences, and short-term and long-term execution plans.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules, milestones, and contractual commitments.
- Identify delays, constraints, risks, and productivity issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Design/Engineering, Planning, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, Commercial, and other project functions.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and project schedules.
- Review and approve construction methodologies, method statements, inspection and test plans, and work procedures where authorized.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with approved engineering designs, project specifications, applicable codes, and authority requirements.
- Lead coordination meetings with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor construction quality and ensure timely closure of inspections, NCRs, snags, and technical issues.
- Ensure strict implementation of HSE policies, risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, toolbox talks, and safe working practices.
- Monitor site productivity and identify opportunities to improve construction methods, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Coordinate procurement and material delivery requirements to ensure materials are available in line with construction schedules.
- Review site requirements and provide inputs for resource planning, manpower forecasting, equipment utilization, and material planning.
- Support commercial teams in evaluating variations, claims, subcontractor payments, and scope changes.
- Ensure proper documentation of construction activities, progress, inspections, approvals, and project records.
- Review and monitor project budgets and control construction-related costs within approved limits.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, completion, and final handover activities.
- Ensure as-built drawings, operation and maintenance documentation, warranties, and other handover requirements are completed.
- Resolve construction-related technical and coordination issues in consultation with engineering teams and consultants.
- Provide regular progress reports, management updates, and performance reports to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement, lessons learned, and best practices across construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, authority requirements, and applicable international standards.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 12–18 years of relevant construction experience, with significant experience in managing large-scale engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Minimum 5 years in a construction management/managerial role.
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects from execution through completion and handover.
- Strong experience in contractor, subcontractor, consultant, and client coordination.
- UAE/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Dubai and Abu Dhabi authority requirements and local construction practices will be an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, RICS, or relevant engineering/project management certifications will be an added advantage.
