Job Responsibilities
- Conduct credit analysis by analyzing audited financial statements and preparing credit proposals.
- Support onboarding and monitoring for the acquisition and management of Discretionary Lending customer portfolios for assigned Relationship Managers.
- Ensure accuracy in financial spreading, quality analysis, and prepare credit proposals within benchmarked timeframes.
- Follow up on the origination and execution of customer transactions.
- Adhere to departmental policies, processes, SOPs, and instructions to ensure work is controlled and consistent.
- Demonstrate compliance with organizational values and ethics to foster a value-driven culture.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability in systems, processes, and practices, considering global standards, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Assist in preparing timely and accurate statements and reports to meet departmental standards.
Job Context
- Assist Relationship Managers with administrative tasks related to the client portfolio, ensuring documentation and customer files comply with bank policies.
- Extract and analyze financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and complex reports to assess risks and prepare detailed credit submissions.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities by understanding client needs and refer clients to specialists for additional products.
- Provide excellent client service by responding promptly and professionally to queries.
- Support customer satisfaction initiatives and improve service outcomes.
- Orient clients to the bank's products and services.
- Execute financial transactions in line with service standards and policies.
- Identify acceptable lending risks aligned with the bank’s risk appetite to maximize profit.
- Maintain high data quality standards in the bank’s systems and documentation.
- Educate clients on access channels like Corporate Internet Banking and Phone Banking.
- Collaborate with peers to ensure effective support and service delivery.
- Support sales goals by providing relevant information and support.
- Generate reports for prospecting and existing clients.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or related fields preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Corporate, Commercial, or Business Banking, with at least 3 years in similar support roles.
