The Role
The newly formed Center for Future Economy (‘CFE’) at Umm Al Quwain University (‘UAQU’), an academic think tank focused on the sustainable and digital economy with an emphasis on entrepreneurship, is seeking a manager. As the CFE is still in its early stages, this role offers a unique opportunity to build it from the ground up, with full support from UAQU and its Board of Trustees. Responsibilities include managing the center’s daily operations, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and overseeing events and training programs. The manager will work directly with UAQU’s Chancellor and the Dean of the College of Business Administration, aiming to establish CFE as a leading academic knowledge hub in the UAE for the future economy and entrepreneurship. The position offers a highly competitive, tax-free salary, commensurate with experience. More about CFE can be found at:

Experience in fundraising (grants, venture capital, etc.) and business incubation is advantageous but not mandatory. A background in academia is not required. Proficiency in professional English is essential; fluency in both English and Arabic is preferred. An undergraduate degree in business, sustainability, digitalization, entrepreneurship, or related fields is required.
Application Procedure
Interested applicants should send their CV and cover letter expressing their interest to the UAQU Chancellor’s Office (chancellor.office@uaqu.ac.ae) and the UAQU HR Department (hr@uaqu.ac.ae).
