C&IB clients often have customized / bespoke solution requirements which require end-to-end management of the deal process (Structuring, Legal documentation, Accounting, customized processing, and monitoring requirements). Such solutions also require alignment with internal stakeholders to ensure proper approvals and guidance for end-to-end booking of transactions. A solutioning approach is necessary as large transactions, particularly for C&IB clients, may require bespoke solutions involving advising, structuring, and executing such transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting, sourcing, and executing deals in transaction banking for the bank.
  • Managing prospects and sales by identifying opportunities, qualifying processes, conducting customer calls, building solutions, presenting, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Engaging with influencers and decision-makers at corporates to cross-sell payments and cash management products to maximize client wallet share.
  • Growing CASA, fee income, and payment and collection volumes / values for the assigned portfolio.
  • Collaborating with the coverage team to secure credit exposures by structuring cash-based covenants and enhancing RAROC.
  • Providing training and support to promote electronic banking channels emphasizing cost advantages and security features.
  • Running promotions and offers to incentivize corporate clients towards automation and digital banking.
  • Sourcing card payment acquiring opportunities, converting leads into deals, and onboarding clients.
  • Working with RM and unit heads on originating, structuring, selling, legal and accounting aspects, credit approvals, processing, and monitoring bespoke deals.
  • Benchmarking product propositions with global banks.
  • Identifying and fixing product and solution gaps.
  • Providing comprehensive solutions for clients on structured deals.

Required skills & experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in cash management and payment products within the corporate banking domain.
  • Strong collaboration skills with relationship managers and internal stakeholders.
  • Keen interest in learning, upskilling, ideation, and identifying product opportunities.
