Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company seeks an experienced transformation consultant to drive performance initiatives across the organization. You will act as an internal advisor to senior leadership, translating strategy into executable projects and leading cross-functional workstreams.

Responsibilities include diagnosing gaps, structuring problems, and delivering data-supported recommendations with measurable impact in a fast-paced energy setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering or administration; Master’s in Engineering Management or MBA preferred.
• 12 years of relevant business, project/program management experience; ideally in retail, fuel retail or B2B industries.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with background in top-tier strategy consulting (MBB or Tier 1 strongly preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to structure complex, ambiguous problems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess performance across financial, operational, and strategic KPIs.
• Identify, quantify, and prioritise performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Diagnose root causes of underperformance using structured problem-solving approaches.
• Design and support implementation of targeted interventions.
• Lead high-impact transformation projects (4–12 weeks) across business areas.
• Structure complex problems, define workplans, and drive execution with cross-functional teams.
• Develop clear and actionable recommendations supported by data and analysis.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to align on priorities, solutions, and execution plans.
• Ensure impact delivery and track results of implemented initiatives.
• Contribute to shaping the overall transformation agenda and priorities.

Role Purpose

Drive performance improvement and transformation initiatives across the organization as part of the Transformation function, acting as an internal consulting team supporting senior leadership in closing the gap between strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess performance across financial, operational, and strategic KPIs
• Identify, quantify, and prioritise performance gaps and improvement opportunities
• Diagnose root causes of underperformance using structured problem-solving approaches
• Design and support implementation of targeted interventions to address key business challenges
• Lead high-impact transformation projects (typically 4–12 weeks) across different business areas
• Structure complex problems, define workplans, and drive execution with cross-functional teams
• Develop clear and actionable recommendations supported by data and analysis
• Engage with senior stakeholders to align on priorities, solutions, and execution plans
• Ensure impact delivery and track results of implemented initiatives
• Contribute to shaping the overall transformation agenda and priorities
