Manager, Business Performance Management - Energy/Utilities

As a Business Performance Manager, you will be responsible for managing business performance frameworks and reporting to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and KPIs. Working closely with executive leadership, the role drives insights, supports strategic planning, and enables data-driven decisions at the CEO level.

Description

1. Lead the design, execution, and evaluation of balanced scorecards across N and N-1 business units.
2. Develop and manage business performance review packs in collaboration with finance and strategy teams.
3. Track, analyse, and report KPIs to provide actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.
4. Benchmark internal performance against industry standards to identify gaps and opportunities.
5. Prepare clear, impactful reports and dashboards for executive stakeholders.
6. Support business planning, forecasting, and operational efficiency initiatives.
7. Ensure compliance with governance frameworks related to performance tracking and reporting.

Minimum Requirements

1. Must have 6 - 8 years of experience in performance management, ideally in a consulting firm or internal strategy/performance team. Exposure to energy/utilities sectors is desirable.
2. Proven expertise in scorecard development, KPI tracking, and business analytics.
3. Strong proficiency in Excel, data presentation, and executive reporting.
4. Ability to interpret complex data sets and provide clear strategic recommendations.
5. Must have experience in the UAE.
6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
7. Strategic mindset with strong attention to detail and organisational alignment.
