About the Job
Lead strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, quality, speed of operation, and employee engagement. Drive cultural transformation through the implementation of Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies. Support the development of a digital innovation mindset, especially within Digital Transformation, and ensure robust governance and sustainability of process excellence programs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategy & Execution
- Contribute to the development and execution of operational excellence strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve business performance, reduce waste, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities using data-driven analysis and stakeholder input.
Continuous Improvement & Methodologies
- Identify process gaps, prioritize criticality based on agreed criteria, and perform improvement projects to enhance processes.
- Coach and mentor ADNOC L&S employees in Lean Six Sigma and Project Management methodologies.
- Implement Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other process improvement methodologies across business units.
- Facilitate workshops, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis sessions to identify inefficiencies and develop solutions.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of improvement projects with measurable outcomes.
Digital Transformation & Innovation
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, particularly in digital transformation.
- Collaborate with digital and IT teams to integrate process improvements with digital tools and platforms.
- Identify opportunities for automation and digital enablement of operational processes.
Governance & Program Management
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks for operational excellence programs.
- Oversee project reviews, performance tracking, and reporting to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop and manage training, certification, and recognition programs to build internal capabilities.
- Facilitate development of Standard Operating Procedures for improved processes.
- Lead value stream mapping of key processes within ADNOC L&S.
- Prepare the organization for international level quality certification.
Change Management & Engagement
- Drive cultural transformation by fostering a mindset of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
- Engage and coach employees at all levels to adopt continuous improvement practices.
- Communicate effectively to build awareness and support for operational excellence initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's in Business Administration preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or business transformation roles.
- Proven track record of leading Lean Six Sigma projects with quantifiable results.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from a reputed certification body like ASQ (American Society of Quality). Six Sigma Master Black Belt is preferred.
- Digital Transformation certification from a reputed certification body is desirable.
