Job Purpose
Explore for new clients by networking, cold calling, marketing or other means of generating interest from
potential clients in order to capture business opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa region to improve
ADNOC Drilling’s market position and achieve financial growth. Develop ADNOC Drilling’s rapport with new
clients and provide support that will continually improve the relationship with potential business clients thus
enhancing ADNOC Drilling’s presence in MENA region. Develop and implement a comprehensive Oil Field
Services and Sales plan for that are consistent with the ADNOC corporate goals. Responsible for developing
strategic business and sales plans to create rapid growth in the MENA region, with future expansion
opportunities into further geographical regions. Determine which products and solutions fit best within the region.
Provide feedback to management on support and infrastructure required to grow the Oil Field Services. Build a
strong client relationship and provide the highest level of support to them.
Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)
Business Development:
Explore and expand ADNOC Drilling’s strategic business opportunities in MENA region by cultivating
partnerships or other commercial relationships for creation of long-term value for the organization.
Plan and execute approaches for marketing ADNOC Drilling’s products/services to potential customers
and play a crucial role in developing an effective pipeline of new projects and customers.
Gather information covering the MENA oil market including Competitors' Pricing and Marketing
approaches within MENA market, government energy policies and regional oil companies’ news in order
to support the management in strategic marketing plans and business development targets.
Communicate and coordinate with working partners within ADNOC Group’s international offices.
Maintain oil & gas industry knowledge and keeps up to date with the latest market and technical
developments by attending related regional conferences, reviewing publications, establishing networks
and participating in professional societies.
Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of
practice.
Client Relations:
Build, manage, and leverage relationships with existing/potential clients initiating business
conversations with organizations and developing a strong relationship with potential customers and
partners, seeking out new business ideas and developing them for ADNOC Drilling’s growth.
Contribute in the smooth implementation of ADNOC Drilling’s agreements with existing clients.
Act as a liaison between ADNOC Drilling and clients for issues such as but not limited to sales,
marketing, investments and technology.
Participate in sales meetings, local trade shows, and vendor training in order to maintain up to date
knowledge of current technology.

Provide input for preparation of the Unit/Department’s budgets and assist in the implementation of the
approved Budget and work plans to deliver objectives.

Implement approved Unit/Department’s policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in
order to support execution of the work programs in line with Company and International standards.

Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Unit in line with the
Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational
processes.
Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line
with international standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
Support the institution of an HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures
& controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines across the Division in line with
international standards, best practices and Corporate Code of Practices and to ensure integrity and
safety of assets.
Reports
Provide inputs to prepare Marketing communication and progress reports for Company Management.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Management, Marketing,
Engineering or equivalent
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
10 years of sales and marketing experience within the Oil & Gas industry including intensive technical
sales, customer relation management, account management, and business development work
(specialist business development experience in oil field services and integrated drilling services)
In-depth knowledge of oil & gas industry value chain (i.e. oil field services and integrated drilling
services in upstream business).
Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Good knowledge of Corporate Planning & Strategies International Joint Ventures Prospecting Skills,
