Job summary

Sanad Aero Solutions Gmbh. is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee engine and component assets and to support the Head of Asset Management in achieving profitability and operational excellence.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate commercial transactions, and optimize teardown and parts trading operations in line with strategic goals. The role requires deep aviation asset knowledge, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative approach with Finance, Legal, Technical and MRO teams.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in aviation asset management, engine/component sales, or MRO operations.
• Experience mentoring or coordinating teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field; asset management or aviation leasing certifications preferred.

• Support Asset Management Strategy: execute asset plans for engine teardown, acquisition, and parts sales.

Job description

The Asset Manager plays a critical role in supporting the Head of Asset Management by overseeing Sanad Capital’s engine and component asset portfolio to ensure operational excellence, profitability, and alignment with company objectives. This position acts as the Deputy during the Head’s absence and serves as a mentor and technical advisor to junior staff. Responsibilities include implementing asset management strategies, coordinating commercial transactions, monitoring engine performance, and optimizing teardown and parts trading operations in accordance with Sanad Capital’s strategic and financial goals.

Your Responsibilities

• Support Asset Management Strategy: Execute asset management plans involving engine acquisition, teardown, and part sales; conduct financial and market analyses; contribute to portfolio optimization and business cases; represent the Head in meetings when delegated.
• Execute Asset Transactions and Commercial Activities: Manage asset transactions including deal coordination, due diligence, and financial modelling; collaborate with Finance, Legal, Technical, and MRO teams; track transaction progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Manage Teardown and Repair Operations: Coordinate teardown programs, repair management, and parts sales; monitor turnaround time, cost, and quality metrics; identify opportunities for improvement in teardown planning and inventory management.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Prepare reports and dashboards on asset utilization, revenue, and profitability; analyze trends and risks; present findings to support strategic decision-making.
• Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Provide coaching and training to junior colleagues; foster collaboration and professionalism; support Emiratization objectives through talent development.
• Compliance and Process Improvement: Ensure adherence to policies and quality standards; participate in process reviews and propose enhancements to improve efficiency and cost control.
• Perform Other Duties: Support additional assignments and special projects as directed by leadership.

Who we are looking for

We seek a highly experienced professional with 8 to 10 years in aviation asset management, engine/component sales, or MRO operations, and 3 to 5 years mentoring or coordinating teams. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field is required, with additional certifications in Asset Management or Aviation Leasing preferred. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in asset valuation, teardown management, parts trading, and financial modelling, alongside a solid understanding of aviation regulations and OEM maintenance programs. Key competencies include asset portfolio management, commercial and financial analysis, deal coordination, technical and market awareness, mentorship, and governance with a focus on continuous improvement. This role demands professionalism, strategic insight, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment aligned with Sanad’s objectives.
