Accounts Payable and Treasury Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Parsons is seeking an experienced and meticulous Accounts Payable and Treasury Manager to join the EMEA team! Based in Abu Dhabi, you will lead the accounts payable and treasury functions.
The selected candidate will oversee the accounts payable and treasury operations across the region. Responsibilities include managing a team, ensuring accuracy in vendor payments, and confirming compliance with company policies and regulations.
Provide leadership to the accounts payable and treasury team, offering guidance and reviewing performance.
Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare and monitor cash forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
Manage banking relationships with regional banking partners and review banking fees to optimize costs and services.
Monitor and manage the opening, renewal, and closure of bonds and guarantees, highlighting any risks identified.
Develop, implement, and maintain accounts payable and treasury policies and procedures.
Partner with other departments (corporate and regional) to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Coordinate with SOX, internal, and external audit teams, providing necessary documentation and support.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or commerce.
ACA, ACCA, or CPA certification required.
Minimum of twelve years of progressive experience, including at least three years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT rules, and accounts payable/treasury processes.
Proficiency in enterprise resource planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
