Job description

This role will lead finance operations and manage a team of Client Accounting Advisors in Dubai and Accounting Associates in Pakistan, ensuring the smooth delivery of tax, accounting, and compliance services for our valued clients. You’ll be at the heart of the day-to-day operations, working closely with your team to maintain high standards, drive efficiencies, and foster a client-focused culture. Responsibilities: • Lead day-to-day operations within the Tax & Accounting team, ensuring timely and efficient delivery • Provide strategic leadership to shape and deliver both short- and long-term operational goals • Prepare and manage the departmental budget in line with overall organisational goals, ensuring cost efficiency • Review and resolve discrepancies in reports, documents, and entries, ensuring data integrity and accuracy • Maintain high standards of quality control; ensure transactions are recorded, filed, and reported accurately • Ensure compliance with relevant government legislation and regulatory requirements • Prepare and manage operational reports to support internal management and performance monitoring • Lead, coach, and mentor the operations team, supporting ongoing professional growth • Oversee audit processes, ensuring follow-up actions and improvements are implemented • Monitor client deadlines and deliverables, ensuring service timelines are met Team Leadership & Performance Management • Inspire and support team members to meet and exceed performance expectations • Foster a positive, results-driven culture, encouraging development and growth at all levels • Set clear performance objectives, regularly review progress, and support career development with tailored training plans • Establish KPIs aligned with wider business goals and track team performance accordingly • Provide regular performance reports to senior management Client Relationship Management • Stay up to date with relevant tax, accounting, and compliance regulations to offer best-in-class advice • Champion excellent client service standards across both teams • Lead client operations handled by the Pakistan team, ensuring delivery aligns with service expectations • Play an active role in building a collaborative team culture focused on professional growth and accountability • Ensure client services are fully compliant with regulatory frameworks and consistently delivered to the highest standards • Resolve any client complaints or issues quickly and professionally • Oversee timely renewals and escalate delays to the relevant teams where needed • Work closely with the General Manager to define the strategic direction and goals of the Client Relations team. • Collaborate across departments to foster a seamless and superior client experience. • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and client-centric thinking within the team. • Provide bespoke, professional support tailored to clients’ unique needs and circumstances

• 5–10 years of relevant experience within the UAE, preferably in a similar leadership role • A degree in Finance or Accounting is essential • ACCA, CA, CPA, or CMA qualifications are a strong advantage • In-depth understanding of Accounts Payable and Receivable functions • Strong grounding in accounting principles and financial reporting standards • Familiarity with quality standards, assurance policies, and best practices • Skilled in tax computations with a keen eye for compliance • Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach
