Managed Services - Commercial Manager

Job Summary:

The Commercial Manager is responsible for leading pricing and commercial terms related to Managed Services propositions and solutions. The role will encompass financial analysis, pricing scenarios, business case preparations, and the detailing of commercial terms.

The Commercial Manager will provide expert financial modeling and pricing analysis in the bidding and solutioning environment with active participation in collection and optimization of cost inputs. The Commercial Manager will work closely with solution leads, SMEs, and other stakeholders and will develop the necessary tools and templates to facilitate solution development.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Lead costing and pricing exercises for Managed Services proposition in accordance with internal policies and guidelines.
2. Review and provide feedback on solutions based on benchmarks and precedents.
3. Create business plans and financial scenarios for Managed Services opportunities.
4. Provide financial insights and analysis to Leadership on an ad-hoc basis as requested.
5. Prepare and maintain financial statement analysis.
6. Provide financial guidance and monitor the financial allocations for Managed Services related investments.
7. Provide insights and analysis to Leadership on budgets and forecast review (KPIs variance analysis, etc.).
8. Liaise closely with MI/reporting team to align on management reports and support in automation such as dashboards.
9. Understand general accounting principles & standards.
10. Monitor contract compliance and adherence to contractual obligations.
11. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with commercial contracts.
12. Continuously provide guidance and support to teams regarding commercial and contractual matters.
13. Include such other duties that may be assigned by your manager.

Required Language Skills:

Proficient in written and spoken English. Arabic is a plus.

Minimum Education and Specific Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economy, or related field. MBA would be advantageous.

Years of Experience: Minimum of 6 years of professional work experience in a commercial, finance, or pricing role with a leading firm.
