Manage Business Performance (Data Products)

Synopsis

To answer the highest value analytical questions in relation to Revenue and Commercial, they will use their advanced analytical skills and business knowledge to leverage the wider analytical toolkit, to analyse and visualize data resources. He/she should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, to effectively work across a multi-disciplined environment. He/she will be encouraged to develop their skills and techniques for the analysis of data and problem solving, to stay up-to-date with industry leading BI capabilities. He/she will be the business lead in IT / data related projects working closely with the IT department.

Accountabilities

1. Develop regular reporting structure for Revenue and Commercial business department through dashboard creation & visualisation with an emphasis on process optimization & automation.
2. Lead a team of analysts to execute complex, ad-hoc analyses utilizing Etihad's wider analytical toolkit, proactively looking for further insights and root cause.
3. Work with business department to determine priorities and plan, manage and deliver tasks.
4. Summarize / visualize results and highlight insights for the business.
5. Maintain documentation repository of solutions, to include methodology.
6. Work with IT department to ensure business area's data needs are met and analytic environment is fit for purpose.
7. Pursue a quality focused ethos with regard to all analytics and reporting, delivering actionable insights & recommendations to the business unit.

Education & Experience

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics or Business.
2. 7-8 years working experience, in a numerate and analytical environment, with proven ability to coach, motivate and lead a team, ensuring goals are met/exceeded.
3. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with strong technical skills inc. SQL, Python, & Tableau.
4. Experience in airline industry preferred.
5. Experience working on data projects alongside IT preferred.
