Job summary

Aldar Retail Management in the UAE is seeking a Manager – Technical & Environmental Services to oversee the facilities management of a major mall. This hands-on role covers hard and soft FM, hygiene, waste management, and sustainability programs across a site serving 100,000+ visitors daily.

You will plan, coordinate, and control FM strategies, monitor contractor performance, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and energy efficiency standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in facilities management for large mixed-use properties.
• Experience leading both hard and soft FM services.
• FM certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage hard and soft FM service delivery to meet operational standards.
• Oversee cleaning, landscaping, pest control and waste management.
• Supervise service providers and ensure contractual outputs.
• Implement standards and policies for internationally recognized FM.
• Lead energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
• Monitor hygiene, waste, and safety across the mall.
• Plan and control FM budget and capital works.
• Coordinate tenancy fit-out reviews and liaison with clients.
