KONE Middle East, Turkey & Africa (KMTA) is embarking upon an exciting growth phase through direct presence in 7 regions. To complement our growth plans, we are looking for Maintenance Technicians with a service mindset to provide professional service to our customers. In this role, you will be at the core of KONE - an everyday hero who makes people's lives easier. You will work towards ensuring quality service, improving equipment safety and performance, and promoting regular and proactive on-site communication with the customer and the equipment users. As a maintenance technician, you will perform regular maintenance checks and tasks, as well as attend call-outs.

Responsibilities
  1. Customer relationship management
  2. Ensure customer satisfaction through quality of service and regular, proactive, and precise on-site communication (callout ETA, job performed, etc)
  3. Provide accurate and real-time reporting of work performed (at the equipment level)
  4. Equipment safety and performance
  5. Identify site risks and communicate them to your supervisor
  6. Take immediate on-site action in case of high-risk identification and follow escalation procedures
  7. Identify unplanned service repairs based on equipment needs
  8. Service operations
  9. Ensure safety for end-users and the site
  10. Follow safe working practices and carry out operations according to maintenance and safety instructions
  11. Execute service visits (planned maintenance, callouts, repairs) respecting schedules, quality standards, and processes
  12. Sales and reporting
  13. Contribute to sales efforts by providing accurate information to your supervisor
  14. Report work accurately and promptly according to the process
  15. Submit timesheets based on work execution
  16. Maintain service tooling, van, instruments, etc., in safe and good condition
  17. Update your supervisor regularly on relevant information
Requirements
  1. ITI / Vocational Certificate / Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Automation) or equivalent
  2. Good verbal and written English communication skills
  3. Basic IT skills are preferred
  4. Basic digital foundation skills are desirable
  5. Minimum 2-5 years of solid preventive maintenance and troubleshooting experience with a reputed elevator company
