Job summary

Responsibilities

• Upkeep of plant equipment and carryout preventive/corrective maintenance to improve productivity.
• Follow SOPs and safety regulations in daily activities.
• Complete day-to-day assignments, report deviations and take action.
• Coordinate with production, logistics and external contractors for maintenance and projects.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance work, review equipment specs, and assess reliability and availability of parts.
• Liaise with production staff to coordinate repairs, safety inspections and supply of new equipment.
• Participate in installation and commissioning of new equipment.

In this role you will be entrusted to ensure the upkeep of plant equipment and carryout preventive/ corrective maintenances to improve productivity of manufacturing facilities.

Heres some of the other things you can look forward to:

• Responsible for upkeep of plant equipment and carryout preventive/ corrective maintenances to improve productivity of manufacturing facilities.
• Follow Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) & Safety regulations in day-to-day activities.
• Complete assignments on day to basis and report deviations and take necessary actions.
• Coordinate with production & logistics team external contractor teams for specialized system maintenance and project execution.
• Planning and coordinating maintenance engineering work including review of mechanical and electrical engineering specifications performing engineering review of proposed new equipment designs to assess reliability ease of maintenance and availability of replacement parts.
• Liaises with production staff to coordinate repair work statutory safety inspections and supply of new plant and equipment with production schedules.
• Participates in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

The role will be based in Sharjah (UAE) and will collaborate with the Maintenance Engineer.

You should also have the following qualifications:

• ITI/DIPLOMA in Electrical
• 3 years hands on experience in Paint/Chemical industry would be ideal
• Trouble shooting with VFD Panels and starters like DOL RDOL STAR-DELTA
• Testing of LT Panels PCCs MCCs & Capacitor Banks
• Phenomenal teammate and possess interpersonal skills
• Should possess practical knowledge of Electrical Mechanical Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems
• Should have English proficiency - Speak Read & Write
