Job summary

Traka (Assa Abloy) is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical equipment in our Dubai facilities.

You will troubleshoot motors, panels, wiring, and components, read electrical drawings, follow safety procedures, maintain records, and cooperate with operations to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• ITI, Diploma, or Technical Certificate in Electrical or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance in industrial or facilities environments.
• Basic knowledge of motors, panels, wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and use testing equipment.
• Understanding of electrical safety practices and procedures.
• Relevant electrical or safety certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment.

• Install, maintain, and replace electrical wiring, cables, switches, and components.
• Inspect electrical systems and identify potential problems.

• Assist with equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs.
• Follow safety procedures, permit requirements, and company HSE guidelines.
• Complete maintenance records and work orders.
• Support shutdowns and maintenance activities as required.
• Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and good housekeeping standards.
