Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Supervisor / Engineer to oversee the repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment in our fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems related to fabrication and heavy engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for all fabrication shop equipment.
2. Ensure regular servicing, repair, and preventive maintenance of machinery such as:

• Overhead cranes
• Hydra machines
• Forklifts
• Rolling machines
• Compressors
• Welding and cutting equipment
• Other shop-related tools and infrastructure

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns efficiently and minimize downtime.

Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and equipment records.

Coordinate with vendors and service providers when needed.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and company maintenance policies.

Lead a team of maintenance technicians and provide technical guidance.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance within a fabrication or heavy engineering environment in a similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, mechanical systems, and preventive maintenance techniques.
3. Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
4. Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
5. Strong understanding of workplace safety and machine operation standards.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
2. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
3. Hands-on troubleshooting and repair abilities.
