Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for Coater Line equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and equipment issues.
• Coordinate AMCs with suppliers for cranes, RO, CEDI, and other utilities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for utility and main production-line equipment.
• Ensure upkeep, reliability, and availability of plant equipment.
• Track downtime, perform breakdown analysis, and prepare reports.
• Maintain equipment history records, maintenance documents, and technical reports.
• Plan and arrange spare parts with Procurement/Purchase.
• Coordinate repairs and modification works with external contractors.
• Support maintenance-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and housekeeping requirements.

WE’RE HIRING | Maintenance Supervisor – Coater Line

Emirates Float Glass L.L.C. (EFG) is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Coater Line operations in Dubai, UAE.

We are seeking a technically strong and hands- on maintenance professional with solid experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities, troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, coordinate with suppliers and contractors, and ensure maximum equipment reliability and availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities for Coater Line plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and equipment-related issues during breakdowns and ensure timely corrective action.
• Coordinate Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) with suppliers for equipment and systems such as cranes, RO, CEDI, and other utilities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for utility equipment and main production-line equipment as required.
• Ensure proper upkeep, reliability, and availability of plant equipment.
• Track equipment downtime, conduct breakdown analysis, and prepare monthly downtime and maintenance reports.
• Maintain accurate equipment history records, maintenance records, technical reports, and documentation.
• Plan and arrange required spare parts in coordination with the Procurement/Purchase Department.
• Coordinate and facilitate equipment repairs and modification works with external contractors.
• Support maintenance-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with applicable Safety, Health, Environment, and housekeeping requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline is mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in a supervisory or lead maintenance role.
• Strong hands- on experience in preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and breakdown analysis.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical/electronic systems, utilities, and production equipment.
• Experience coordinating with equipment suppliers, service providers, contractors, and procurement teams.
• Good knowledge of spare-parts management, equipment history records, and maintenance documentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literate and capable of preparing technical, maintenance, and equipment downtime reports.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Must be physically fit and comfortable working in a plant/shop-floor environment.
