Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a premier frozen foods facility in Dubai.

You will oversee daily maintenance, reliability programs, and regulatory compliance to minimize downtime on automated lines and refrigeration systems. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Refrigeration Engineering with 5+ years in food manufacturing, strong knowledge of NH3/Freon refrigeration, CIP and PLC-controlled

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Refrigeration Engineering.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing, specifically ice cream / frozen foods / dairy.
• Experience with industrial refrigeration (NH3/Freon), continuous freezers, CIP, PLC-controlled packaging.
• Experience in Dubai/UAE/GCC food manufacturing and familiarity with local regulations.
• English required; Arabic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize maintenance for specialized processing equipment including continuous freezers, ice cream churners, hardening tunnels, cold rooms and high-speed packaging lines.
• Manage industrial refrigeration systems (Ammonia/Freon), chillers, evaporators, compressors, and plant utilities.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures to minimize downtime and implement corrective actions.
• Execute and improve the Maintenance Management System schedule for daily, weekly and monthly maintenance routines.
• Track KPIs such as OEE, MTBF and MTTR; manage spare parts and optimize stock costs.
• Directly supervise a multi-skilled maintenance team across rotating shifts and coordinate with third-party contractors.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the daily maintenance operations Equipment Reliability amp Preventive Maintenance programs for our Cold-Chain food manufacturing facility in Dubai This role ensures minimal downtime across automated production lines continuous Freezing Equipment amp Industrial Refrigeration systems while maintaining strict compliance with UAE Food Safety HACCP ISO 22000 amp regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Qualifications amp ExperienceDiploma Degree in Mechanical Electrical Mechatronics or Refrigeration Engineering 5 years in maintenance within food manufacturing specifically in Ice Cream Frozen Food Dairy Processing In-depth knowledge of industrial refrigeration NH3 Freon continuous freezers hardening systems clean-in-place CIP circuits amp PLC-controlled packaging machinery Previous experience in Dubai UAE GCC food manufacturing environments amp familiarity with local municipality food safety codes preferred Full professional proficiency in English Arabic is a plus
