General Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
- Review assigned task cards with the Maintenance Manager to understand work scope, priorities, documentation, and cautions before starting.
- Perform scheduled aircraft maintenance according to task cards, ensuring proper documentation, parts, tools, and GSE are used.
- Carry out aircraft testing and inspections to identify and record defects or damages following approved procedures.
- Troubleshoot and rectify defects in accordance with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and engineering instructions.
- Sign off maintenance tasks within your authorization, confirming completion to required standards.
- Coordinate with other engineers and technicians to ensure proper communication, continuity, and handover of work.
Safety
- Ensure all safety precautions are observed during maintenance tasks.
- Use proper GSE and protective equipment to prevent injuries.
- Manage human factors, ensuring critical tasks are not interrupted and proper handover procedures are followed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience on Airbus A320 family in Base and Line Maintenance.
- Possession of an EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 B1/B2 Maintenance License and approvals for Airbus A320.
- Ability to obtain GCAA CAR 66 B1 Category License without restrictions.
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems maintenance.
- Proficiency in English for technical communication.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to obtain a UAE driving license.
