General Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

• Review assigned task cards with the Maintenance Manager to understand work scope, priorities, documentation, and cautions before starting.
• Perform scheduled aircraft maintenance according to task cards, ensuring proper documentation, parts, tools, and GSE are used.
• Carry out aircraft testing and inspections to identify and record defects or damages following approved procedures.
• Troubleshoot and rectify defects in accordance with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and engineering instructions.
• Sign off maintenance tasks within your authorization, confirming completion to required standards.
• Coordinate with other engineers and technicians to ensure proper communication, continuity, and handover of work.

Safety

• Ensure all safety precautions are observed during maintenance tasks.
• Use proper GSE and protective equipment to prevent injuries.
• Manage human factors, ensuring critical tasks are not interrupted and proper handover procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience on Airbus A320 family in Base and Line Maintenance.
• Possession of an EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 B1/B2 Maintenance License and approvals for Airbus A320.
• Ability to obtain GCAA CAR 66 B1 Category License without restrictions.
• In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems maintenance.
• Proficiency in English for technical communication.
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to obtain a UAE driving license.
