Job summary

The Emirates Group is seeking a Maintenance Planner to plan, schedule and coordinate plannable maintenance activities for its ground services and related operations in Dubai. The role focuses on optimizing manpower, materials, tools and equipment use, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include developing preventive maintenance plans, coordinating with stakeholders, maintaining asset records, and generating reports on reliability and resource use to support cost

Qualifications

• Holds a Degree or Diploma in Automotive Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Hydraulics or Diesel Engine Engineering.
• 4-6 years for Degree holders or 6-8 years for Diploma holders.
• Hands-on experience in GSE, cargo, airport baggage handling, automotive, heavy equipment, manufacturing, or transportation industries.
• Training in maintenance planning and scheduling from a recognised provider.
• UAE driving licence preferred to obtain ADP.
• English proficiency at Level 4.
• Proficient communication skills.
• Strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate all plannable maintenance work performed by the maintenance team.
• Develops annual and monthly preventive maintenance schedules in line with approved frequencies and quality standards.
• Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders for timely execution of maintenance activities.
• Maintains accurate asset records, maintenance history, operating status and cost data in the maintenance management system.
• Prepares and updates job plans in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, safety requirements and regulatory needs.
• Monitors work orders to ensure timely completion and cost booking.
• Generates maintenance asset reliability, downtime and resource utilisation reports.

Job Purpose

As a Maintenance Planner you will be responsible for planning scheduling and coordination of all plannable maintenance work performed by the maintenance team.

Plans schedules allocates and coordinates maintenance activities to ensure optimal utilisation of manpower materials tools and equipment. Develops annual and monthly preventive maintenance schedules in line with approved frequencies and quality standards. Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely execution of maintenance activities. Reviews and updates weekly maintenance plans including preventive corrective modification and emergency repair works. Maintains accurate asset records maintenance history operating status and cost data in the maintenance management system. Prepares and updates job plans in accordance with manufacturer recommendations safety requirements regulations and operational needs. Monitors work orders to ensure timely completion accurate cost booking and revenue recognition. Raises material and purchase requisitions and ensures timely availability of required materials and spare parts. Generates maintenance asset reliability downtime and resource utilisation reports for analysis and stakeholder review. Ensures compliance with safety quality and environmental policies while maintaining technical documentation and supporting special projects.
