Job summary

Emirates Engineering in Dubai is seeking an Aircraft Technician in Line Maintenance to perform routine servicing and maintenance on Emirates and third-party aircraft in accordance with AMM/IPC/CMM guidance. You will work under a Licensed Aircraft Engineer within your trade to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications include 2.5 years in aviation maintenance, graduation in Engineering (12+2), an Aircraft Maintenance License or apprenticeship, and willingness to support with troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.5 years in an aviation engineering maintenance environment.
• Graduate (12+2) in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent training with an airline or approved MRO, or an Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License.
• Experience in an aircraft engineering environment with on-the-job airline training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of aircraft, engines, and components per manufacturer procedures.
• Adhere to safety procedures during refueling, fluid replenishment, and servicing.
• Complete component replacements and maintenance tasks as directed, using AMM/IPC/CMM/SRM or OEM docs.
• Support Licensed Aircraft Engineers and Technicians in troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas, report defects, and ensure accurate shift handovers.
• Promote safety culture and comply with airport safety regulations, including driving permits and manoeuvring area rules.
• Assist with resource allocation and departmental projects using RMS/RTC applications as needed.

Job Purpose

As an Aircraft Technician in Line Maintenance you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks on Emirates and third-party aircraft and components in compliance with company procedures and regulations. The Aircraft Technician works as part of a team under the direction and guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer within the relevant trade or cross-trade disciplines for which they are trained.

In This Role You Will

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of aircraft, engines, and components and/or approved structural repairs in compliance with manufacturer procedures.
• Ensure adherence to all safety procedures during fluid replenishment, aircraft refuelling, and aircraft systems charging or servicing as required.
• Complete component replacements and other maintenance activities as directed by the immediate supervisor. This includes obtaining and interpreting the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), Structural Repair Manual (SRM), or other OEM-approved documentation required to perform the task.
• Support Licensed Aircraft Engineers and Approved/Licensed Technicians in troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications in accordance with job cards. Complete tasks promptly to minimise delays, prepare work based on aircraft status, report defects quickly, and ensure accurate shift handovers.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by minimising risks, reporting deficiencies, and ensuring clean, organised work areas free of FOD. Regularly audit and maintain toolboxes, vehicles, and equipment while complying with all airport safety regulations, including holding a valid Airport Driving Permit and adhering to manoeuvring area requirements.
• Contribute to team objectives and support continuous improvement initiatives through collaboration with colleagues.
• When required, apply current knowledge and experience in aircraft maintenance support, aircraft repairs, and modifications to assist with resource allocation (using RMS/RTC applications as needed) and departmental projects.

Qualification

In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of 2.5 years’ work experience in an aviation engineering maintenance environment.
• Graduate (12+2) in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent training with a reputable airline or an approved aircraft maintenance organisation, or an Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License
• Experience in an aircraft engineering environment, including a minimum of two years of on-the-job training in an airline or an approved aircraft maintenance organisation.
