About Wynn Al Marjan Island

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Scheduled to open in 2027, the resort is located in Ras Al Khaimah, just 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport. It will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, bars, a theatre, nightclub, and beach club. Amenities include swimming pools, a private beach, water features, a spa and salon, shopping area, and events center.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager – Podium to join the resort’s Executive Office team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the FM Director in overseeing maintenance and repair of resort buildings, fixtures, and finishes, including reactive and preventive maintenance.
  • Manage FM team resources and scheduling for maintenance, repair, and safety of physical structures.
  • Maintain the resort in excellent condition, ensuring all areas are presented as new.
  • Ensure efficient processing of work orders and meet SLA performance standards.
  • Manage artisans and specialists for complex repairs to minimize downtime and business disruption.
  • Oversee performance KPIs and productivity of the Facilities Team and outsourced service providers.
  • Prepare reports on upcoming, ongoing, and completed works for the Director.
  • Ensure quality and service standards are met by the Facilities Team.
  • Implement quality control and health and safety compliance measures.
  • Focus on detailed finishing to uphold the resort’s 5-star Forbes rating.
  • Manage external contractors to ensure quality standards.
  • Control expenses and seek cost reduction opportunities without compromising standards.
  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure quality and timely completion of maintenance and repairs.
  • Manage preventative maintenance programs and inspections.

About You

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in multi-discipline building maintenance, with 2 years in hotel maintenance preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of building trades, codes, and regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Construction, Building Management, or related Engineering field.
  • Excellent English communication skills; proficiency in spoken Arabic is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of project management software.
