About Wynn Al Marjan Island

On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theater, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Senior Facilities Manager – Podium to join the resort’s Executive Office team.

The Primary Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Are

  • Assist the FM Director to oversee the Maintenance and Repair of the resort Buildings, structure, Building Furnishings, fixtures and Finishes, Painting and Decoration, Wet Trades, Carpentry, Shopfitting, Mill Work in respect of Reactive Maintenance, PPM, and corrective maintenance for the resort.
  • Manage FM Teams resources and scheduling for the maintenance, repair and safety in relation to the physical buildings, architecture, structures, fabric, painting and decorating, furnishings, finishes.
  • Maintains the Resort in perfect working order and all areas are presented as new.
  • Ensure all work orders are processed efficiently and ensures the FM team SLA performance is as is required.
  • Manages facilities building artisans and specialists with complex repairs and trouble-shooting difficult cases in order to mitigate downtime and business disruption.
  • Manages the performance KPA’s and productivity of the Facilities Team and Outsourced Service Providers.
  • Prepare regular reports for the Director outlining upcoming works, works in progress and completed works.
  • Ensure the Facilities Team delivers Wynn standards of quality and service.
  • Ensure the Team executes and completes operations in accordance with established policies and procedures to both local and international standards.
  • Implement and monitor quality and control mechanisms for all associate FM operations including FF and E upkeep, associated electrical, maintenance, and ensures appropriate health and safety compliance.
  • A major emphasis will be on the finish to the Resort with eye for detail in what is a 5 Star Forbes rated Hotel where excellence is the expectation.
  • Assist in managing external contractors work and ensures appropriate quality standards are maintained.
  • Control expenses and research ways to reduce expenditure without effecting standards.
  • Daily conducts property inspects to ensure the quality of the built environment and finished are maintained to the required standards and verifies the timely completion of all routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Manages preventative maintenance programs and implements regular preventative maintenance inspections.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ building multi discipline maintenance experience (2 years in hotel maintenance an advantage).
  • Excellent knowledge of application methods for all associated wet and dry building trades, knowledge of local and international building codes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Construction, Building Management and/or related Engineering.
  • Excellent English both verbal and written, Spoken Arabic.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word and Excel, working knowledge of project management software.
