About the Role

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager for our daylife venue Baoli. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of all facilities and equipment at Baoli Dubai. This includes the restaurant, bar, lounge, kitchen, outdoor pool & beach areas, and back-of-house facilities. The role ensures all systems are running efficiently and safely, while maintaining the high aesthetic and functional standards expected at a premium lifestyle venue.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule for all areas of the venue, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities, systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, AV, etc.), and ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, and environmental regulations.
  • Supervise the in-house maintenance team, delegate tasks effectively, and oversee repair works, renovations, and improvement projects.
  • Coordinate with approved external contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services when necessary.
  • Monitor and manage utility consumption, promote energy conservation, and ensure sufficient inventory of tools and spare parts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to maintenance activities, inspections, expenses, and performance metrics.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize disruption to operations and guest experiences.
  • Support ongoing staff development through performance monitoring and training recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including project managers and cleaning supervisors, to ensure a safe, clean, and pest-free environment.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar roles within the hospitality, F&B, or leisure sector (preferably luxury venue with beach & pool operation, hotels, or resorts).
  • Solid knowledge of facilities management, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance. (MEP)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Strong understanding of local UAE regulations related to health, safety, and building codes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Computer literate including knowledge of MS Office & maintenance and repairs tools and material.
  • Excellent communication skills and follow-up.
  • Ability to work under stress in a teamwork environment.
  • Well experienced in leading and motivating people.
  • Experience in luxury venue operations.
