Job summary

Howco Group in the United Arab Emirates, Sharjah, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist. The role focuses on setting and machining components per drawings and routing instructions, interpreting engineering drawings to customer specifications, and creating programs accordingly.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in the Gulf, and a strong background in ISO programming, GD&T, and lean manufacturing. HSE compliance and safe handling of materials are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience, with 5 gulf years as CNC machinist in setting/machining/programming.
• High school or trade certificate; working knowledge of measuring instruments.
• Experience in improvement activities; material handling, crane and forklift.
• Positive attitude to operational change; willing to adapt to Gulf region.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to the Howco Group H&S Environmental and Quality policies
• Set and machine components as per drawing /routing instructions
• Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications.
• Create program as per drawing /routing instructions
• 100 % inspection on the produced parts
• Participate in problem resolution activities to achieve process & efficiency improvements.
• handling material (raw & machined) in a safe and effective manner as per HSE requirements
• Ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained in accordance with company requirements.
• Perform General Tasks if and when required.
• Awareness of Howco HSE Policy, Conscious on related Policies

Job Requirements

• Awareness of HSE, Existence and Key points
• Min 10 year in which 5 year gulf experience as CNC machinist in setting /machining /programming
• High school /trade certificate qualification and working knowledge of measuring instruments
• Previous experience in improvement activities.
• Similar experience in material handling, crane and forklift.
• Positive attitude to Operational change.
