As a global team, we design and deliver surface pressure control equipment, as well as support field maintenance, commissioning, and de-commissioning. Innovating in the energy industry, surface pressure control capabilities are industry leading.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions to set up and operate various types of conventional and CNC machines, and conduct production machining operations specified by the Manufacturing Order Package.
• Work within close tolerances to perform adjustments and measurements, assuring proper alignment of machine and parts.
• Assist Support Team in carrying out tool performance evaluation and testing of new programs and new cutting tools.
• Conduct machine tool preventive maintenance and implement 5S auditing.
• Apply CMM tools to inspect parts to ensure conformity to requirements and perform critical dimensions recording and machining mapping.
• Assist fixture team in fixture performance and rigidity evaluation, and testing of new fixture design and clamping methods.
• Implement new machining technologies to reduce machining costs and participate in improvement projects and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Have from 0 - 3 years of experience as a machinist.
• Have a diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Have experience as a horizontal turning lathe machinist.
• Be familiar with Fanuc Control and Mazatrol.
• Have good interpersonal skills, computer skills, and must be a team player.
• Able to read and understand English.
