Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a skilled operator to set up and run shearing machines, cutting metal sheets as per precise blueprints. You will monitor the process, adjust settings for accuracy, and perform routine maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.

You will inspect finished parts for defects and dimensional accuracy, rejecting non-conforming items. A high school diploma is preferred, with vocational machining training seen as a strong asset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; vocational machining training is a strong asset.
• Experience operating shearing machines in a manufacturing environment, preferably metal fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and use measurement tools like calipers and micrometers.
