Job description

We have partnered up with a leading client based in Abu Dhabi, who is seeking to onboard a UAE National professional with investments experience in Mergers & Acquisitions.
Job Brief

  1. Perform due diligence of potential investments and divestments, including building basic financial models and running sensitivity analysis.
  2. Review, endorse, and filter inorganic investment proposals submitted by Business Lines to ensure alignment with the organization's vision.
  3. Evaluate third-party opportunities from a financial viewpoint and provide recommendations to management.
  4. Gather financial data on target companies in line with corporate guidelines for analysis.
  5. Conduct due diligence and valuation assessments for opportunities, presenting findings to management.
  6. Support in preparing internal presentations and memos for pursuable opportunities, coordinating with third-party service providers.
  7. Monitor market trends and business risks, assessing implications on the current and future investments of the organization.
  8. Support due diligence and acquisition/divestment processes of targeted companies aligned with the organization's strategy.
  9. Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and feasibility studies to provide insight for decision-making.
  10. Work closely with internal stakeholders to structure deals and prepare required documentation.

Develop a risk register for potential M&A transactions and prioritize risk issues for mitigation.
Provide financial expertise throughout the transaction process to achieve strategic imperatives and mitigate potential setbacks.
Required Experience

  1. 5 years of relevant experience in mergers and acquisitions, valuation, investment banking, and/or private equity.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling proficiency.
  3. Direct experience in due diligence processes, ability to work in demanding environments, excellent presentation skills, and clear communication abilities to convey compelling messages to senior managers and external partners.
