Role Summary:
We are hiring an L1 Support Engineer to assist in the M365 and Active Directory (AD) migration activities, including device migration, user account migration, and cutover support. The role is crucial in providing on-ground and remote support during planned migrations to ensure seamless user transition and system availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Support M365 and AD-based device and user migrations following defined cutover plans.
Perform pre- and post-migration device readiness checks (login, network, application access).
Assist users in configuring M365 services (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, etc.) post-migration.
Escalate unresolvable issues to L2/L3 teams and track incident resolution.
Assist with user profile transfer, email backup/restoration, and license assignment.
Coordinate with migration leads during cutover windows for issue logging and resolution.
Document all migration activities, issue logs, and user confirmations.
Requirements:
Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams).
Familiarity with Active Directory, user account provisioning, and group policies.
Hands-on experience with Windows OS and basic device troubleshooting.
Understanding of cutover support procedures, including rollback and validation.
Good communication skills for user support (remote and on-site).
Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and documentation practices.
