Job Summary :

The M&E Technician is responsible for the reliable operation and maintenance of the physical plant, sewerage treatment plant, steam boilers, calorifiers, gensets, and other plant equipment and machinery of the hotel. He shall conduct regular testing and inspection of hotel electrical and mechanical systems to ensure they operate in accordance with acceptable engineering standards to achieve optimum efficiency.

As an M&E Technician, your responsibilities include,

• Leading major repairs on pumps, generators, boilers, RO plant, STP, fuel network, water bottling plant, STP main pump station, etc.
• Preparing a list of materials needed for repairs and reporting to the Section Head on work to be done.
• Assisting the Department Secretary with spare parts requests for par stocking by checking stock levels monthly and informing the Department Secretary of low stock.
• Ensuring welding and other works conform to engineering standards.
• Updating preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment as required by the Director of Engineering.
• Recording all repair works in logbooks and equipment record cards.
• Completing work orders accurately, efficiently, and completely.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
• Consulting the Section Head or Director of Engineering when in doubt.
• Providing overtime or changing work schedules as needed without delay.
• Performing other tasks as assigned by the Director of Engineering.
