Role Overview : The M&A and Corporate Development Head at Eva Pharma will lead the company’s acquisition strategy to drive long-term growth and enhance global competitiveness. This role involves identifying, evaluating, and executing high-impact acquisitions, including corporate entities and marketing authorizations, in line with strategic goals. Responsibilities include leading due diligence, structuring and negotiating deals, and overseeing post-acquisition integration. The M&A Head will collaborate with legal, finance, and regulatory teams to ensure acquisitions meet business objectives and comply with global standards, contributing to the growth and diversification of Eva Pharma’s portfolio.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Develop and implement M&A and corporate development strategy by identifying and pursuing global acquisition opportunities—companies, products, or marketing authorizations—that align with our long-term goals.
  2. Identify and evaluate global acquisition opportunities, focusing on markets, products, and technologies to enhance the company’s portfolio.
  3. Lead deal execution from start to finish, including due diligence, valuation, negotiations, and closing, ensuring each transaction fits both our financial and strategic vision.
  4. Manage post-deal integration, working cross-functionally to align operations, people, and systems while delivering on synergies and value creation.
  5. Ensure all acquisitions meet regulatory standards, collaborating closely with internal and external experts to navigate global requirements with precision.
  6. Stay ahead of the market by tracking trends and competitor moves, uncovering new opportunities to strengthen our portfolio and competitive edge.

Requirements :

  1. 10+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, or strategic partnerships, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a total of 20+ years of experience.
  2. Proven experience managing M&A transactions within the pharmaceutical sector, from deal identification and structuring to successful integration, including cross-border deals that navigate complex regulatory environments, markets, and business cultures, with demonstrated success in acquiring companies and/or marketing authorizations and effectively handling the associated legal and regulatory frameworks.
  3. Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory environments and healthcare market trends.
  4. Expertise in M&A strategy, due diligence, financial modeling, and deal structuring.
  5. Deep knowledge of global market access, commercial strategy, and market entry dynamics.
  6. The position may be based in either the Netherlands or Germany.
