Job summary

AG Engineering LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on LV distribution networks, MDBs/SMDBs, and control panels. You will inspect lighting and emergency lighting, read schematics, and diagnose faults to restore services promptly.

Role requires 3–5 years in electrical maintenance, familiarity with building services, and ability to use testing instruments such as multimeters and insulation testers.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance within facilities management or similar environments.
• Experience with LV electrical systems and building services maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficient in using electrical testing and troubleshooting instruments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems including LV distribution networks and control panels.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair lighting systems, emergency lighting, outlets, and switches.
• Perform routine inspections and diagnose defects or safety hazards.
• Attend emergency breakdowns and restore services within contractual times.
• Assist in fault-finding using testing instruments such as multimeters and insulation testers.
• Record readings and maintenance activities and report spare parts needs.
